Wesley Thomas Zimmerman Obituary

Wesley Thomas Zimmerman, 77, of Washington R. D. 3, formerly of Van Kirk Station, R. D. 6, died at 7 p.m. Monday, January 5, 1981, in his home. He had been in failing health for the past nine months.

He was born December 27, 1903, in Banetown, a son of J. Q. and Lillie Miles Zimmerman.

Mr. Zimmerman was a member of the Liberty Methodist Church, and had been an active member as long as his health permitted. He served as treasurer of the church trustees for 42 years.

He had been employed for 47 1/2 years by the Hazel Atlas Glass Co., the Continental Can Co. and the Brockway Glass Co. as a mold maker and inspector.

On August 21, 1930, he married Olive Patterson, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harold Louise E. Glaum [sic] of Washington R. D. 3; a sister, Mrs Thelma Cooper of Lagonda; and two grandchildren, Cindy Marie and Eric Glaum, both of Washington R. D. 3.

A sister, Hazel Patterson, is deceased.
