William L. Wood

William L. Wood, aged 80 years, died at his home in Holbrook Wednesday night, February 12, 1936, at 7:15 o'clock of complications. He had been ill for the past two weeks.

The deceased was born in Greene County July 3, 1855, a son of Jesse C. and Maria Fordyce Wood, deceased. He was twice married, his first wife being Elizabeth Shriver, who died in 1919, and by which union three children survive: Cam Wood, of Holbrook; Mrs. Martha Walker, of Niles, California, and J. Guy Wood, of Pasadena, California. One brother and two sisters also survive: Silas Wood and Mrs. Nannie Harris both of Holbrook and Mrs. Richard Tustin, of Waynesburg. Mr. Wood married Emma Moore as his second wife, she who preceded him in death by two years.

Mr. Wood was a retired stone mason and was a member of the Holbrook Christian Church. Funeral arrangements were not completed at an early hour this morning.
