Oliver Wade

Oliver Wade, 70, of Mt. Morris, R.D. 1, well-known farmer and stock raiser, died suddenly at his home at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 1953. Although Mr. Wade has not been in the best of health, his death was very unexpected.

A son of the lare Morgan and Catherine Masters Wade, the deceased was born April 22, 1883, in Perry Township, and resided all his life in the Mt. Morris vicinity. He was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church and for 20 years had worked for the Mt. Morris Gas Company.

Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Florence Headlee Wade; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Inez) Wells of Mt. Morris; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; one brotehr, Oscar Wade, residing in Michigan, and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Masters, of Blacksville, W. Va., Mrs. Nancy Renner, of Mt. Morris, and Mrs. Goldie Russell of Mt. Morris.
