Alpheus B. Wade

Alpheus Brown Wade, aged 68, well known prosperous farmer of Perry township, died at his home Tuesday, August 13, 1929. Death was due to heart trouble. He was a son of Thomas and Pleasant Wade and was a lifelong resident of Perry township. He had been a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Ediscopal church since he was 13 years old and was a member of the board of trustees of the church. He had been an active member of the congregation ever since he became a member. Besides his wife, Mrs. Lozetta Spitznagle Wade, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Russell H. Headley, of Mt. Morris, R. D., and a brother, A. A. Wade, of Blacksville, W. Va. Funeral services were conducted at his late home yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock by Rev. George M. Shimer, of Mt. Morris, and interment was in the Cedar Grove cemetery.
