Charles I. Sellers

Charles I. (Chad) Sellers, 74, of Clarksville R. D. 1, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 1987, in St. Mary's Hospital, Altoona. Death, which was very unexpected, was caused by a heart attack suffered during a medical procedure.

Born December 2, 1912, in Clarksville, Mr. Sellers was a son of Glenn and Lydia Eaton Sellers.

He had resided all his life in Greene County and was a retired minerwho had worked at the Mather and Gateway mines. He was a Protestant and a member of Gateway Local 6330, United Mine Workers of America.

His wife, Margaret Cullen Sellers, died in 1978.

Surviving are two sons, John Sellers lo East Lake, Ohio, and Charles W. Sellers of Tyrone; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Mae) Molesy of Ravenna, Ohio and Mrs. John (Jean) Hopshire of Dry Tavern; and a brother, Glenn Sellers in Kentucky.

Two brothers, Edwin and Kenneth Sellers; and three sisters, Bernice Fowler, Sarah Miller and Alice Sellers are deceased.
