PAULINE SCHROYER

Pauline Schroyer, 63, of 228 South Market St., Carmichaels, died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 1972, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, following an illness of several months.

She was born August 7, 1909 at Carmichaels, a daughter of the late Oma F. and Rosa Zimmerman Cree.

She was a 1928 graduate of Cumberland Township High School and a 1932 graduate of Waynesburg College where she earned an A. B. degree and B. Mus. degree. She had also done graduate work at the State University of New York.

Surviving are her husband, James Schroyer, whom she married May 31, 1938.

Mrs. Schroyer was a member of the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church, the Women's Club of Waynesburg and the Carmichaels Civic Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Fred Schroyer, of Beallsville; two grandchildren; and one sister, Dr. Sarah H. Cree, of Carmichaels, R. D. 1.

A sister, Mary Ruth, is deceased.

Funeral services were held Sunday with burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery.


SCHROYER - Friends of Pauline Schroyer, of Carmichaels, who died Thursday, August 24, 1972, will be received by the family from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Samuel P. Weaver Funeral Home, Waynesburg and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, the time of the services in charge of Rev. Bernard Shuey. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to Greene County Memorial Hospital.
