WAYNESBURG - Woodrow G. Rohanna, Sr., 61, of RD 3, Waynesburg, died at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Dec 20, 1979 at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Born Nov. 16, 1918 at Mannington, West Virginia, he was a son of Mrs. Gemelia Shadady Rohanna and the late Andrew K. Rohanna.

He is also survived by his wife, Betty Rose Rohanna, whom he married on March 8, 1942.

He spent all his life in the Waynesburg area, and was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army, and was a member of the James Farrell Post of the American Legion.

He was also vice president of Rohanna Iron and Metal, Inc.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a son, Woodrow G. Rohanna Jr., of RD 3, Waynesburg; six daughters, Mrs. Salvatore (Peggy) Sorrentino of Waynesburg, Mrs. Robert (Jemelia) Milliken of Boston, Mrs. John (Emily K.) Blair of Waynesburg, Mrs. Ronald (Sandra) Hampson of Waynesburg and Elizabeth and Veronica at home; six brothers, Kay A., Isaac P., Joseph P., Andrew K. and Robert E., all of Waynesburg and Edward J. of McMurray; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Mary Rose) Wakim of Geneva, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


ROHANNA - Friends of Woodrow G. Rohanna Sr., 61, of Waynesburg who died on Thursday, Dec. 20, 1979, will be received at the Mariner and Milliken Funeral Home in Waynesburg on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Waynesburg with the Rev. John Corbett officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. The family asks, that , in liue of flowers contributions be made to the Heart Fund or the Cerebral Palsy Fund.
