John Lindsey Phillips

John Lindsey Phillips, aged 59 years, died at his home in Perry Township on Thursday night, March 10, 1938, at 9 o'clock as the result of a heart attack.

The deceased was a son of T. M. and Martha Brock Phillips, deceased, and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Flora Dulaney Phillips; two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Flesher and Mrs. Mildred Morris. both of Washington, D.C.; three sons, Ralph Phillips, of Fairmont, W. Va.; Francis and Charles Phillips, both at home. Six grandchildren survive along with a brother, William Phillips, of Spraggs; a sister, Mrs. Harry Dulaney, of Mt. Morris; two half-brothers, Charles and James Phillips, both of Washington; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Rose Baysinger, Mrs. Margaret Ankrom, and Mrs. Lottie Ankrom, all of Waynesburg.

Funeral arrangements ahd not yet been completed at an early hour this morning.

PHILLIPS RITES SUNDAY

Funeral services for John L. Phillips, late of Perry Township, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Episcopal Church, Mt. Morris, with the Rev. W. L. Long officiating and assisted by the Rev. Gay Benson. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
