ARTHUR L. PATTERSON

Arthur Lewis Patterson, 66, well known Waynesburg tinsmith and roofer, of 294 North Porter street, died at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1951, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sunday morning. Mr. Patterson had been in ill health since 1946 and had been bedfast the past year.

A native of Perry Township, he was born Sept. 6, 1884, at Brock, a son of the late William Franklin and Louisa Whitlatch Patterson. The family came to Waynesburg shortly after the turn of the century and he had lived here ever since. He was married Oct. 21, 1908, to Nettie Grim, who survives. He also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Ross, Harvey, Don, Misses Ada and Aliff Patterson, all of Waynesburg.

He was a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Church at Brock, having united with that church early in life.
