Kenneth P. Milliken Sr., 74, of 575 Walnut Street, Waynesburg, died Tuesday, May 6, 1986, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Although he had been in failing health, his death was unecpected.

He was born January 19, 1912, in Delphene to H.E. and Goldie Pethtel Milliken and spent most of his life in Greene County.

On June 19, 1938, he married Margaret Jane Scott, who survives.

He was a 1934 graduate of Waynesburg College and for many years served on the board of trustees at the college.

He was a retired executive of Dunn-Mar oil and Gas Company and Waverly Oil Co. in Lancaster, Ohio.

Active in many civic affairs, he was a former Waynesburg school director, director of the First National Bank of Wasington and the former First National Bank of Waynesburg, and served on the board of directors of Global Development in Washington.

A member of the First United Methodist Church, he was also a past exalted ruler of BPO Elks, Lodge 757; past president of the Greene County Country Club and Lodge 153, F&AM, Syria Shrine.

He was a member of the Greene County Memorial Hospital board of directors and served as co-chairman of the Paul R. Stewart Science Hall Drive in 1959.

In 1961, he was appointed to the National Committee for Secondary Recovery and Stripper Wells of the Independent Petroleum Association of America.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Gary S., of Pittsburgh, Kenneth P. Jr. of Masontown and Robert E. of Lancaster; two daughters, Susan K. Fritz of Wanesburg and Joy Jane Milliken of Tampa, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and a sister, Sylvia Blair of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. A sister, Marjorie Milliken, is deceased.
