Robert Masters

Robert Masters, 69, of 416 Park avenue, Clairton, died at 4 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 1965, in the Veterans Hospital, Oakland. He had been in poor health.

He was born March 12, 1896 at Pine Bank, a son of the late Marian and Mary Headley Masters, and spent the early part of his life in Greene County.

He was a retired employee of the U. S. Steel Company, Clairton Coke Works, where he resided for 22 years.

He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church at Clairton and was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Alice Fox Masters; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Nowaczynoski, of Avon, Ohio and Mrs. Esther Salka, of Bunola; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Connor, of Waynesburg, and two brothers, George of Greensboro, and Arthur, of Mt. Morris.

Funeral services were held May 29, 1965, with burial in Claughton Chapel Cemetery, near Kirby.
