DEMPSEY E. MASTERS

Dempsey E. Masters, well known farmer of Perry township, died at his home near Brpck, Wednesday, February 29, aged almost 53 years, of a complication of diseases. Mr. Masters was a son of W. O. and Louisa Cowell Masters, and was born March 16, 1875. Beside his wife, Ada Guthrie Masters he leaves five children, Mrs. Merle Eddy, of Morgantown, W. Va.; Mrs. Charles Lemley, of Whiteley; Miss Belle, Earl and Carl Masters, at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Simon Ammons, of Mt. Morris, and Mrs. Ross Husk, of Fordyce, also survive. Mr. Masters was a member of Valley Chapel M. E. church. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Floyd Headley and Rev. M. L. Husted. Interment in Claughton Chapel cemetery.
