W. A. (LONNIE) LEMLEY

W. A. (Lonnie) Lemley, aged 76 years, Braden street, Waynesburg, Pa., died at 6 a.m. Friday, July 30, 1954, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

He was born near Brock, Pa., June 25, 1878, a son of the late Clark and Rachel Headley Lemley. Most of his life was spent in Waynesburg. He was a retired taxi driver.

Surviving are his wife, Addie Dulaney Lemley, four daughters, Mrs. Vada Headley, Washington; Mr. Pearl Mitchell, Waynesburg; Mrs. Mary King, Waynesburg R. D.; Miss Ocie Lemley, Waynesburg; two sons, William and Marshall, both of Waynesburg; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was the last of his family.

The deceased was a member of the Washington Street Methodist Church in Waynesburg.


LEMLEY - Friends of W. A. (Lonnie) Lemley of Braden street, Waynesburg, who died Friday, July 30, 1954, are being received at the church Funeral Home, 197 North Maiden street, Waynesburg, at any time. Funeral services will be held from the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, August 2, with Rev. Paul P. Holden officiating. Interment in the Cedar Grove Cemetery at Mt. Morris.
