LUCY LEMLEY HICKMAN

Mrs. Lucy Lemley Hickman, aged 78 years, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 14, 1954, at her home in Mt. Morris, following a lingering illness.

She was born at Mt. Morris, January 28, 1876, a daughter of the late Harvey and Frances Evans Lemley. She spent all her life in the Mt. Morris community and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Mt. Morris.

She is survived by her husband, W. Lindsey Hickman of Mt. Morris, one son, Ralph E. Hickman of Mt. Morris; two granddaughters, Mrs. Paul I. King of Mt. Morris and Mrs. Robert H. Drodge of Morgantown, W. Va.; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Rose of Mt. Morris; two brothers, Frank W. and Charles N. Lemley of Mt. Morris.


HICKMAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Lemley Hickman of Mt. Morris, who died Monday, June 14, 1954, will be held at 2 p.m. DST Thursday, June 17, at the Assembly of God Church in Mt. Morris, with Rev. W. C. Long and Rev. Robert H. Drodge officiating. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery at Mt. Morris. Friends will be received at the Church Funeral Home, 197 North Maiden street, Waynesburg, until noon Wednesday, June 16, and after 7 p.m. at her late home in Mt. Morris. The body will lie in state at the Assembly of God Church, Mt. Morris, from 1 to 2 p.m. (DST) Thursday. The casket will remain closed after services.
