James A. Harris

James A. Harris, aged 71, son of William and Rebecca Harris, deceased, died on Wednesday evening, August 13, 1930, at 10 p.m., in his home near Holbrook, after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Harris was born in West Virginia, but spent most of his life in Pennsylvania, near Holbrook, where he was engaged in farming. His wife, Nancy Wood Harris, and the following children survive: Mrs. Nettie Wells, of Rogersville; Every Harris, of Holbrook; Mrs. Ethel Huffman, of Waynesburg, and Miss Ellen Harris, of Holbrook. He also leaves nine grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. Mr. Harris was a member of the Christian church of Holbrook. Funeral services will be held at his late home at 1 p.m. Saturday and at the Holbrook church at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Larue Brown officiating. Interment will be in Rosemont cemetery.
