MRS. GRACE C. HAMILTON

Mrs. Grace Cooper Hamilton, 50, of Pine Bank, R. D. 2, died at her home at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, '54. She had been in poor health for the past three years and seriously ill for 11 days. SHe was the wife of Festus C. Hamilton.

A daughter of the late Mason and Elizabeth Stewart Cooper, Mrs. Hamilton was born March 8, 1903 at Pine Bank and resided all her life in the Bluff vicinity.

Mrs. Hamilton was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, whom she married Nov. 10, 1927, are two daughters, Margaret Hamilton, at home, and Mrs. Roy John of Spraggs; one son, Earl E. Hamilton of Sycamore; two randchildren; three sisters, Miss Jennie Cooper of Waynesburg, Mrs. Essie Hixenbaugh of Hundred, W. Va., and Miss Artie Cooper of Washington D. C., and two brothers, Rinehart Cooper of Waynesburg and Carl Cooper of New Freeport.


HAMILTON - Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Cooper Hamilton of Pine Bank, R. D. 2, wife of Festus C. Hamilton, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1954, will be held Tuesday, Jan, 5, at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Franklin Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends received at the Scott Funeral Home, Rogersville, until 12 noon Tuesday.
