FESTUS C. HAMILTON

Festus C. Hamilton, 87, of Waynesburg, R. D. 2, formerly of the Pine Bank area, died at 2:10 a.m. Monday, April 19, 1971 in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had not been in the best of health for some time.

He was born August 3, 1883 in Freeport Township near New Freeport, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Hamilton, His wife, Leota Grace Cooper Hamilton died January 2, 1954.

Mr. Hamilton lived most of his life in the Pine Bank area where he was a farmer and was affiliated with the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Edward (Margaret) O'Conner, of Holbrook, and Mrs. Roy (Mary) John, of Spraggs, R. D. 1; one son, Earl E. Hamilton, of Ravenna, Ohio; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was the last of his family of four sisters and four brothers. A granddaughter is also deceased.

Funeral services were held Wednesday with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
