Ralph S. Fox
Ralph S. Fox, 62, of Clarksville, R. D. 1, died in his home of an apparent heart attack at 7 p.m. Friday, November 5, 1971.
A son of the late Francis and Louise Ethel Kiger Fox, he was born March 24, 1909, in Whiteley Township and spent his early life in the Kirby area. He had resided in the Clarksville area for the past 25 years.
Mr. Fox was employed for a number of years as a mechanic for various construction company [sic], and for several years operated his own automobile repair garage.
He was a member of the Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Olive Fordyce Fox, whom he married Jan. 19, 1945, one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Shaffer, of Clarksville R. D. 1; a foster son, Richard Allen Kennedy, at home; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Odie Headlee, of Washington, and a brother, Waynesburg.
Funeral services were held Monday with burial in Greene County Memorial Park.
