Mrs. Mary Fox Mrs. Mary Fox, 81, a native of Greene County, died in the home of her son, Herschel Fox, of Akron, Ohio, on Saturday, May 4, 1946, She had made her home with her son for the past nine months, but prior to that time had lived for many years in Monongalia, W. Va. She was the widow of Luther Fox. Besides her son she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. D. H. Haines, of Charleroi, Pa; Mrs. William Fox and Mrs. James Haines, both of Kirby. Also one grandson, Sanford Luther Fox, of Washington D.C., survives. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 7, in a Morgantown funeral home, with Dr. W. S. Boyd, of the Wesley Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the East Oak Grove Cemetery, at Morgantown, W. Va. Democrat Messenger, May 9, 1946 (Greene County, PA)
