Leonidus Fox

Leonidus Fox, aged 65, formerly of Westover, W. Va., died in the home of his sister, Mrs. Edward Headlee, of Perry Township, (Mt. Morris, R. D. 1) on Saturday, Dec. 22, 1945. He had been in ill health for some time.

He was a son of the late Deford and Sarah Lemley Fox, of Perry Township. He was twice married. His first wife, Mrs. Ida Lemley Fox, died in 1923. His second wife, Mrs. Leonidus Fox, lives in Piedmont, S. C. He is also survived by two sons, Marvin William Fox, of Greenville, S. C. and Corp. Carl Fox, of Morgantown, now serving with the Marines in China; one sister, Mrs. Edward Headlee, of Mt. Morris R. D.; two brothers, Leasure C. Fox, of Carlton, Ohio, and Earl Fox, of Waynesburg, R. D. Burial will be made in the Cear Grove Cemetery.


FOX - Funeral services for Leonidus Fox, of Mt. Morris R. D. 1, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 1945, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 2 p. m., at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Headlee, Mt. Morris R. D. 1, with Rev. H. E. McNeely and Rev. W. H. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Friends are being received at the Headlee residence. Jenkins and McCulla, Fairmont Road, Morgantown, W. Va., are the funeral directors.
