William H. Fordyce Services Friday

Services for William H. Fordyce, 73 retired coal miner, who died Tuesday at his home, 48 Brown Street, Greggsville, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in chapel of the Crider-Kepner funeral home, 107 Key Avenue, Elm Grove. Rev. W. W. Beckley, pastor of the Greggsville Methodist church will officiate. Internment will follow in Stone Church cemetery.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fordyce, he was born in Ohio County June 14, 1873. He was employed as a miner his entire life, retiring ten years ago. His wife, Mrs. Ella Schott Fordyce, preceded him in death 18 years ago.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl M. Otto, Greggsville, a brother Albert Fordyce, Wellsburg; three sisters, Mrs. James Nixon, Wheeling; Mrs. Belle Kuntz, McMechen, and Mrs. Rebecca Barbe, Fairmont. Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
