Wilbert G. Fordyce

Wilbert G. Fordyce, 63, of 845 Seventh Avenue, Waynesburg, died at his home at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 1969. Although not in the best of health for some time, his death was unexpected.

Mr. Fordyce was born May 2, 1905 near Bluff, Jackson Township, the son of Mrs. Mary Longstreth Fordyce, of Waynesburg, and the late Jacob G. Fordyce.

Most of his life was spent at Waynesburg where he was a member of the First Christian Church.

He was a painter by occupation and a member of the James Farrell American Legion Post, Waynesburg, 330.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, is one sister, Mrs. Blanche Smouse, of Waynesburg, and one brother, Carl, of Waynesburg, and several nieces and nephews. One brother, Lawrence T. Fordyce, is deceased.

Funeral services were held Saturday with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
