JACOB FORDYCE

Jacob Fordyce, 72, who formerly resided in the vicinity of Bluff, Greene County, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Aldine Wagers of Wooster, Ohio, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1951.

A son of the late W. C. and Malinda Fordyce, the deceased taught school in Greene County for a number of years. His wife, Cora Hamilton Fordyce, preceded him in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Wagers, Mrs. Burgess Daugherty and Mrs. Ralph Musselman, all of Wooster, Ohio; one step-son, Charles Morris, of Coraopolis, and 11 grandchildren.


FORDYCE - Funeral services for Jacob Fordyce, a former resident of Greene County, who died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1951, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Aldine Wagers of Wooster, Ohio, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in the Mt. Zion Church at Bluff. Burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Jacob E. Fordyce, 72, of Wooster, O., formerly of Greene County, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1951, in a hospital at Wooster following a long illness.

Mr. Fordyce had resided for many years in Center Township, Greene County, mostly in the Bluff community, and had taught school in the County for a long period. He had resided in Ohio for the last several years. His wife, Cora Hamilton Fordyce, died about three years ago.

Surviving are three children, all at Wooster, O., and eight grandchildren.
