FRANK FORDYCE DIES IN IPAVA HOME


SERVICES TUESDAY


IPAVA -- In failing health for more than a year, Frank J. Fordyce, 72, died Sunday in his Ipava home.

Born on May 4, 1880 in Idiana a son of John and Mary Fordyce, he was married on March 23, 1928 to Ruth Ellen Bubb, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Sgt. Donald F. Fordyce, who is stationed with the Air Force at Mitchell Air Force Base, N.Y., three step-sons, John, Raymond and Robert Bubb, a step-daughter, Mrs. Josephine Miller, Lewistown, six step-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edith Shades, Whiting, Ind., and a brother, Harry Fordyce, South Dakota.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Shawgo Memorial chapel by the Rev. Dean Wright, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial will be in Ipava cemetery. Friends may call at the Shawgo Memorial chapel.

Frank Fordyce passed away at his home early Sunday morning following an illness of over two years.

He was the son of John and Mary Fordyce. He was married to Ruth Bubb on March 23, 1928, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Donald, three step-sons, John, Raymond and Robert, one step-daughter, Mrs. Josephine Miller, one sister, Mrs. Edith Shades of Whiting, Ind., and a brother, Harry Fordyce of South Dakota.

Services were conducted Tuesday by Rev. Wright in the Shawgo Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
