Archibald Fordyce Archibald Fordyce, aged 69 years, died at his home on Hargus Creek, Waynesburg, R. D. 7, Sunday morning, October 3, 1937 at 7:30 o'clock. Death was due to a heart attack suffered two weeks ago. The deceased was born in Center Township and was a lifelong resident of the district where he resided. He was a son of Rinehart and Elizabeth Orndoff Fordyce, deceased and was born August 23, 1868. One brother, Edward Fordyce, survives. Mr. Fordyce was a member of the Rogersville Methodist Protestant Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence with the Rev. N. E. Schindler officiating. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Waynesburg Democrat Messenger, October 4, 1937 (Greene County, PA)
