MISS OSIE L. DELANEY

Miss Osie L. Delaney, 57, lifelong resident of Greene County, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1948, at 3:10 a.m., at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. W. Headlee, 103 North Maiden street. She had been seriously ill for two weeks.

She was born March 13, 1890, at Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late David and Hester J. Headlee Delaney, and had resided in Waynesburg for the past 41 years. She leaves one sister, Mrs. W. W. Headlee, of Waynesburg, at whose home she died, and one brother, Robert M. Delaney, of Mt. Lebanon. She also leaves one nephew, David Ralph Delaney, of Runimede, N. J. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Daughters of Ruth Bible Class.


DELANEY - Funeral services for Miss Osie Delaney, of 103 North Maiden street, Waynesburg, who died Saturday morning, Jan. 10, 1948, will be held Monday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m., at the Garrison Funeral Home, East High street, in charge of her pastor, the Rev. F. D. Esenwein. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Friends are being received at the funeral home. J. Ross Garrison, funeral director.
