A. F. (Tony) Crouse, 81, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Rogersville, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 1981, in the home of his daughter after being seriously ill for the past year. He was born January 15, 1900, in Holbrook, a son of J. Fred and Iva Lightner Crouse. Mr. Crouse was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church. On November 2, 1925, he was married to Clydia Elliott, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Al (Joann) Waters, with whom he resided, and Mrs. Sue Arnold, both of Indianapolis; a son, Robert F. Crouse of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. CROUSE - Friends of A. F. (Tony) Crouse of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Rogersville, who died Saturday, December 19, 1981, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert L. Lantz Funeral Home, Rogersville, where services will be held at 11 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, with the Rev. Garvin Hupp officiating. Burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
