Florence Susan Ealy Chadwick, 92, of Amity, died Monday, October 26, 1998, following a three-month illness.
She was born in East Finley Township May 6, 1906, a daugher of Oliver and Emma Fordyce Ealy.
Mrs. Chadwick, a homemaker, was a member of First Baptist Church of Claysville. She had attended Saw Hill School and Stoney Point School.
In 1935, she married Hiram Chadwick, who died October 23, 1974.
Surviving are five sons, Herschell, Oliver and Gaylord Chadwick, all of Prosperity, Hiram Chadwick Jr. of Washington and Paul Chadwick of Amity; a daughter, Shirley Barnhart of Ruff Creek; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Russell Ealy; a sister, Effa Ealy Russell; and infant twins.
CHADWICK - Friends of Florence Susan Ealy Chadwick of Amity, who died Monday, October 26, 1998, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 29, with the Revs. Harold and Mary Sprowls officiating. Interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
