Dr. C. H. Calvert

Funeral services will be held this afternoon in Pittsburgh for Dr. C. H. Calvert, 67, a native of Greene County, who died Saturday night, Dec. 16, 1939, at his home, Northside, Pittsburgh.

A son of Marion and Sudie Headey Calvert, he was born in 1872 at Mt. Morris. He was graduated in 1900 from the dental school of the Western University of Pennsylvania (now the University of Pittsburgh) and opened a dental office the same year in the Northside, Pittsburgh, where he had practiced the last 39 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and was affiliated with the Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges.

Surviving are his wife, Ida G. Milliken Calvert; one son, Cecil Calvert, of Pittsburgh; one grandson, Billy Calvert, and one sister, Mrs. James Bradley, of Mt. Morris. Dr. Calvert was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Charles F. Silveus, Mrs. Cora Roberts and Edwin B. Milliken.

Burial will be in the United Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
