Mrs. Mary Ann Burge died at her home in Center Township, Greene county, on Friday morning, February 16, 1894 of consumption, aged 35 years. She leaves behind a husband and five children to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and loving mother. She was a member of the M. P. Church at Valley Chapel and was faithful to its teachings. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cain, interment taking place at the Fordyce burying ground. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, Pennsylvania)
