PORTER U. BLAKER

Porter Ulysses Blaker, 62, died at his home in Steubenville, O., Wednesday.

He was born in Mt. Morris, Pa., May 11, 1870, a son of the late Columbus and Elizabeth Fordyce Blaker. He was prominent throughout western Pennsylvania and West Virginia as an oil man.

Mr. Blaker was twice married. His first wife was Miss Zora Headlee. To them was born one son, Ocle Blaker, who resides near Mt. Morris. Others surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ella Blaker, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Euphen Mattiford, of Clarksburg; Jesse E. Blaker of Clarksburg; Mrs. Ida Stephens, Brockton, Ia.; Mrs. Nora White, Waynesburg, Pa.; Emri Blaker, Dunn's Station; John L. Blaker, Mt. Morris.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at Mt. Morris.
