Mrs. Lida H. Ammons

Mrs. Lida Headley Ammons, aged 64 years, wife of Perry Ammons, of Perry Township, died at her home near Mt. Morris, yesterday morning, February 9 [sic], at 6 o'clock after a lingering illness due to tuberculosis. She was a daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Headley and was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Episcopal church. Besides her husband she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Martha Wilkinson, of Parkersburg, W. Va.; Mrs. Lindsey Fox, of Mt. Morris; Mrs. Elizabeth Stoneking, of Brock; Mrs. Henry Zimmerman, of Spraggs; William and David Headley, of Brock; Francis Headley, of Whiteley township; Madison Headley, of Washington, Pa.; Grant Headley, of Carmichaels, and F. Herman Headley, of West Middletown. The funeral will be held Saturday morning. The friends will meet at the Ammons home at 9 o'clock, going from there to the Baptist church at Mt. Morris, where services will be conducted by Rev. Lloyd Headley, of Ninevah. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove cemetery at Mt. Morris.

MRS. PERRY AMMONS

Mrs. Lida H. Ammons, wife of Perry Ammons, died at their home near Mt. Morris, Thursday, February 9, aged 64 years, after a lingering illness from tuberculosis. Mrs. Ammons was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Headley, deceased, of Perry township. SHe was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was an excellent christian woman. Beside her husband she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Martha Wilkinson, Parkersburg, W. Va.; Mrs. Lindsey Fox, Mt. Morris; Mrs. Elizabeth Stoneking, Mrs. Caroline Zimmerman, Spraggs; William and David Headley, Brock; F. M. Headley, Whiteley township; Madison Headley, Washington; Grant Headley, Carmichaels, and Sherman Headley, West Middletown. The funeral services were held Saturday morning in the Baptist church at Mt. Morris, conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Headley, of Ninevah, and Rev. C. L. Peacock. Interment in Cedar Grove cemetery.
