Haines-Smith Mr. Clyde Haines, of Allenport, Pa., and Miss Lena Smith, of Pine Bank, were united in marriage, Saturday morning, October 5, in the parlors of the Hotel Walton, Waynesburg. The ceremony was performed at 5:30 o'clock by the Rev. A. S. Kelley, pastor of the Waynesburg Baptist church, in the presence of a few friends. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Smith, of Pine Bank, and is a former student of Waynesburg college. She is a most estimable young lady. The groom is a son of Dr. and Mrs. D. D. Haines, of Allenport, and is a graduate of Waynesburg college in the class of '12. He was recently elected principal of the Charleroi, Pa. high school. Mr. and Mrs. Haines left on the 6:25 train on a short wedding trip. They will reside in Allenport. Waynesburg Republican, October 10, 1912
