Mr. & Mrs. Theodore Crouse, 35th Anniversary, 1974


Double Celebration June 23

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Crouse and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parsons Sr.Graysville- The joint open house celebration will be held for the 35th wedding aniversaries of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Crouse of Rutan and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parson Jr., of Wind Ridge on Sunday, June 23, 1974 at Harvey's Grange Hall, Graysville. Friends of relatives of the couples are invited to call between the hours of 2-6 p.m.

Mrs. Crouse and Mrs. Parson are sisters and were married 35 years ago in a double wedding ceremony on the lawn of their parents at Rutan, the late Lilly Smalley, and Edward G. Smith, Waynesburg.

The former Wilma Smith and Theodore Crouse, son of Camel Crouse and Ella Rock Crouse are the parents of the two children, Mrs. Larry Mitchell and Mrs. Anna C. Baddock. They have four grandchildren.

They are members of the Rogersville Methodist Church and Harvey's Grange. Mrs. Crouse is employed by Singer's in Waynesburg. He is retired from the Department of Highways, Rutan.

The former Katherine Smith and Charles Parson Jr. of Wind Ridge, son of the late Blanche Cumpston and Charles Parson Sr., Bristoria. Their five children are Mrs. Terry Jones, Mrs. Nelson Stover, Edward Parsons, Mrs. Nelson Bayles and David "Rick" Parsons. There are ten grandchildren.

Mrs. Parson is a receptionist for Dr. Meyer Sonneborn and Mr. Parson is employed with Gas Co. Mr. Parson is a member of Masonic Lodge No. 153, Wind Ridge Volunteer Fire Co. and the Gasco Club.
